HGE provided architectural schematic and site design services for the City of Bandon’s South Jetty Park. Project design goals included the following:

• Define and restore edge of foredune

• Create clear, ADA accessible pedestrian walkways to improve safety

• Relocate Park Host

• Renovate existing Restroom Building (replace fixtures, paint, hardware, siding, trim, etc.)

• Create spaces for appropriate interpretive signage

• Encourage/request feedback from the general public, neighborhood group and public government agencies

• Identify key viewing areas, incorporate masonry benches/tables

• Designate children’s play area and foot wash station

• Provide clear, delineated, and ADA accessible parking areas
