HGE was given the challenging task of designing a modular windscreen bench for the Port of Bandon’s Boardwalk, which is subject to high speed summer winds and violent winter storms. The project also entailed designing fixed benches for the Boardwalk Ampitheater that would aim to make the existing steps more ergonomic. The benches were designed to be easily fabricated in the Port’s shop and to fit the artistic, maritime theme of the Boardwalk.
